Sales Lead

Ocean Rainforest is seeking a driven and mission-aligned Sales Lead to spearhead the commercialization of our seaweed-based biostimulant products across California’s high-value agricultural sectors—including strawberries, wine grapes, avocados, and almonds.

With a base at our pilot processing facility in Santa Barbara and active collaboration with our Ensenada, Mexico production hub, you will play a central role in expanding our U.S. market footprint and building trusted relationships with growers, agronomists, and distribution partners.

?? Key Responsibilities

• Drive B2B sales of seaweed-derived biostimulants to farmers, cooperatives, and distributors in California.
• Develop and execute regional go-to-market strategies and grower engagement campaigns.
• Conduct product trials, demos, and technical support in collaboration with our R&D and agronomy teams.
• Maintain strong relationships with processing operations in Ensenada and coordinate logistics and supply chain activities.
• Identify new market opportunities, customer needs, and feedback to inform product development.

? What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in agricultural input sales (biostimulants, biofertilizers, crop protection, or biologicals preferred).
• Strong network among California specialty crop growers and/or ag distributors.
• Knowledge of soil health, plant nutrition, or regenerative agriculture.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Spanish proficiency is a strong plus.
• Willingness to travel across California and occasionally to Mexico.
