Laurus College is a California-based private, post-secondary career school founded to provide a collegiate-level education for students seeking successful careers. The mission of Laurus College is to serve as a quality institution of higher education dedicated to creating a quality experience for all of its students by combining career focused programs and the necessary fundamentals of learning that supply the tools needed to succeed in the 21st century.

Laurus is derived from a Latin word meaning ''success''. From its inception, the overriding requirement expected of the faculty, management, and curriculum is to give the student a superior education and the skills necessary to utilize that education in today's work environment. Students at Laurus College learn in modern classrooms using industry standard software and equipment in their programs, thus preparing them for a career and for the world.

Laurus College provides focused instruction and real world, project-based training for exciting career fields such as 3D Animation, Business, Web Design, Medical Billing, Information Technology (IT), Computer Networking and Office Support. Laurus College operates several campuses throughout California including Atascadero, Oxnard, San Luis Obispo, Santa Maria and also offers all of their programs Online. Laurus College is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS).

Federal financial aid is available for those students enrolled in approved programs and who qualify.
