Banner House Now Accepting New Residents: A Safe, Supportive Haven for Adults with Brain Injuries

Ventura, CA — May 8, 2025— The Brain Injury Center of Ventura County is proud to announce availability for three new residents at Banner House, our specialized transitional home for adults living with acquired brain injuries.
Located in a peaceful Ventura neighborhood, Banner House offers a warm, home-like setting where individuals with brain injuries can live as independently as possible while receiving the personalized support they need to thrive.
“Our goal is to provide a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where residents can rebuild skills, foster independence, and connect with a community that understands their journey,” said Chrissy Stamegna, Executive Director of the Brain Injury Center of Ventura County.
Each of the two available rooms at Banner House is fully furnished and designed with comfort and accessibility in mind. Residents receive:

  • 24/7 care and supervision by trained staff
  • Individualized goal setting and support plans
  • Life skills development (cooking, cleaning, budgeting, etc.)
  • Access to social and recreational activities
  • Transportation assistance
  • A sense of community, connection, and purpose
Banner House is ideal for individuals with acquired brain injuries who are ready to take the next step toward independent living in a structured and compassionate environment.
