The amount of growth both professionally and personally that we have had this year, we owe, in part, to our involvement in the chamber of commerce. We are so blessed by this “little” but MIGHTY community of Ventura and all the good...
Everyone from hard-core cycling enthusiasts to weekend riders are welcome to join the American Red Cross in the return of an annual event that benefits members of the U.S. military, veterans and their families.
Ride for the Red, sponsored by the Red Cross’ Pacific Coast Chapter, makes its comeback on Saturday, November 13.
There will be three rides going through Ventura County: a century (100 miles) starting at 6:30 a.m.; a metric century (about 62 miles) starting at 8 a.m. and a half metric century (30 miles) starting at 9 a.m. Each route will start and end at the Red Cross headquarters in Camarillo.
Registration is currently open. Registered riders will receive a bag with free items. Veterans and active-duty service members can choose any ride for $10; proof of service will be required at the start of the race.
All proceeds will support the Red Cross Service to the Armed Forces, which helps members of the military, veterans and their families prepare for, cope with and respond to the challenges of military service.
Sponsorship opportunities are available. Contact us to learn more about how your organization can participate and support this worthwhile cause.
