Autism Society Ventura County Welcomes Megan Meadows as New Executive Director
Ventura County, CA

September 16, 2024

Autism Society Ventura County (ASVC) is excited to announce the appointment of

Megan Meadows as its new Executive Director. With over 16 years of experience in the

non-profit sector, Megan brings a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and passion to the

organization. Her leadership will guide ASVC into a new chapter of growth and

innovation.

Megan is renowned for her ability to support high-impact teams, develop

groundbreaking programs, and build strong relationships with community members and

stakeholders. In her new role, she will oversee day-to-day operations and lead strategic

initiatives that will elevate ASVC's mission of creating connections, empowering

everyone in the Autism Community to live fully.

“For the past three years, ASVC has operated under a volunteer Executive Director.

Now, with Megan’s full-time leadership, we are poised to take our programs and

services to the next level,” said the ASVC Board President, Ashley Pope. “Her

experience and dedication will be invaluable as we continue to expand and enhance the

resources we offer to the community.”

This position has been made possible through the generous support of the Bella Vista

Ranch Foundation Fund. ASVC extends its deepest gratitude to the Foundation for

believing in the organization's mission and supporting this pivotal transition.

Megan Meadows shared her enthusiasm for the role, saying, “I am honored to join

Autism Society Ventura County at such an exciting time. I look forward to working

alongside the board, staff, and community to further our impact throughout Ventura

County.”

With Megan Meadows at the helm, ASVC is confident in its ability to continue providing

vital resources, programs, and advocacy for the Autism community. Some of ASVC’s

most popular programs and services are: art classes for kids/teens/young adults,

socials at Zander’s Game House, informational seminars, support groups, the Everyone

Has a Story Bookclub, and the yearly Aut2Run Event at CSUCI.
